Lobby Corps

Lobby Corps is the research and lobbying arm of ASUCD's External Affairs

Lobby Corps is the largest of the three ASUCD Units which handles external affairs, as it recruits politically ambitious students to engage in lobbying on behalf of UC Davis Students.

Lobby Corps engages in two primary activities:

  1. Researching legislation, especially at the at the state level, for the State and National Affairs Office, the City/County Affairs Office, and Lobby Corps itself.
  2. Directly lobbying University officials and the California State Government in Sacramento.

Lobby Corps trains its staff on lobbying methods and the political process, and offers transcript notation.

Meetings

Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in ASUCD Conference Room (on the third floor of the Memorial Union).
