Below is the staff of ASUCD President Rebecca Sterling
Sabrina Dias – Chief of Staff
Sabrina Dias is a third year Biological Science major with a minor in Political Science. As Chief of Staff, she coordinates projects on the President’s behalf and maintains staff cohesion and organization. She also represents the President and/or Executive Office at various meetings and committees throughout the campus. She has extensive knowledge of ASUCD and would love to talk to anybody with questions.
Joohi Kasliwal – Assistant to the President
Joohi Kasliwal is a first year International Relations major from Huntington Beach, California. Interested in becoming more involved at Davis, Joohi became a commissioner on the External Affairs Commission that led her to pursue a position on the ASUCD Executive Staff. As Assistant to the President, Joohi assists in the projects and duties of the staff as well as working closely with Rebecca to organize her busy schedule and attend meetings. She is excited to work to make Davis a better campus and learn more about ASUCD and its role in the process. She loves meeting new people so don’t hesitate to approach her!
Melissa Coy – Director of Special Projects
Melissa McCoy is a second year International Relations and Economics double major and originally from San Diego. As the Director of Special Projects she hopes to assist the executive office in the execution of various projects that fulfill the pillars of community as well as promote Aggie Pride. When she is not in the executive office, you may see her at her other on campus job, giving tours to prospective students- please don’t hesitate to give a shout out! Outside of work and school she loves to run, travel, attempt to be a gourmet chef and hang out with good friends.
Paul Dailey - Director of Public Affairs
Paul Dailey is a first year English major who is also a member of the Davis men’s water polo team. He grew up in Davis and loves every aspect of the city. His job is to effectively communicate the actions of the ASUCD Executive Office to the student body. He is very approachable and loves to meet new people, so if you have something to say, a compliment or criticism, do not hesitate to approach him!
Eddie Yoo – Director of Policy and Legislation
Eddie is a third year student studying Communication and Sociology with Law and Society emphasis. As the Policy & Legislative Director, he is responsible for all aspects of legislative and University policy advocacy activities. As a proven leader on campus, he will continue to do what he does best, “getting the job done”. Feel free to contact him with your concerns and suggestions at ejyoo@ucdavis.edu. Eddie will hold his office hours Monday to Thursday from 5 – 6PM at the ASUCD Executive Office.
Daniel Quintana – Intern to the President
Daniel Quintana is a first year Economics and Philosophy double major and French minor from San Diego, California. As Intern to the President Daniel’s job is to work with the Executive Office to complete jobs and other special projects. He is also part of ASUCD’s Outreach Assembly and the University Honors Program. Daniel is getting ready for an exciting year and looks forward to working with ASUCD to make UC Davis an even better campus.
Katie Grainger – Intern to the President
Katie Grainger is a freshman psychology major from San Diego with a passion for dance and leadership. She has been involved in student government throughout high school and is excited to have a position in ASUCD. Her job is to assist the executive office with any duties or special projects. She hopes to give back and obtain knowledge about UC Davis through this position.
Lauren Menz – Intern to the President
Lauren Menz, from Folsom, CA, is a third year Aggie pursuing a major in International Relations and is still deciding between having two or three minors. She is currently President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi and is the office gopher for Plant Science IT. She also sits on a variety of student budget committees, which, consequentially, led to her interest in ASUCD. As an intern for the President, her job is to help anyone and everyone in the Executive Office to ensure that the projects are efficiently completed.
