360 Memorial Union

Lobby Corps is the research and lobbying team within ASUCD’s External Affairs. Lobby Corps recruits politically ambitious students to lobby on behalf of their fellow students and is the largest of the three ASUCD  external affairs units.

Lobby Corps engages in two primary activities:

  1. Researching legislation, especially at the state level, for the State and National Affairs Office, the City/County Affairs Office, and Lobby Corps itself.
  2. Directly lobbying University officials and the California State Government in Sacramento.

Lobby Corps trains its staff on lobbying methods and the political process. It also offers transcript notation.

Meetings are held on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm  in the ASUCD Conference Room (on the third floor of the Memorial Union).
